Singles' Ceilidh

A singles' ceilidh ('kay-lee') is a great opportunity to meet lots of new people in a fun and relaxed space. The dances are Scottish Country dances and if your first reaction is one of panic then don't worry, all the dances are explained before you do them. The steps are easy and you will be surprised at how dancing breaks down barriers, encourages conversation and how easy it is to judge the level of mutual attraction.

Most people are aged 20s-40s but it is more about attitude than age. Doors open at 7:15 and the dancing is from 8-11. Tickets cost £14.50 and are available for sale in advance. We have a limited number of tickets for sale at a promotional price. Please email singles@wellmatched.com to find out the promo code for the ceilidh you are interested in. There is a well priced bar at the venue to help get those dancing feet moving. Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase on the night.

The next singles' ceilidhs will be held on the 5th June at Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regent’s Park Road, London NW1 7AY.

Pre booking is highly recommended (We sometimes sell out) and you don't have to wear any tartan (although you do look good in it). The main point of the evening is for you to have fun, enjoy yourself and maybe meet that someone special.

The Ceilidh Club has been holding ceilidhs in London since 1998 and has received rave reviews by (amongst others) the Guardian, The Evening Standard, Time Out and the BBC.
