NB Gin Background

The company is a success story of Britain’s fast-moving gin renaissance. It has come a long way from its modest beginnings in 2013. The founders Viv and Steve Muir started it in their kitchen. The distillery is now in a purpose-built building with serious eco-credentials. NB Gin has grown over the years by following and perfecting the exacting and meticulous London Dry distilling process. It has gone local to global producing a range of multi award winning spirits. The gin was voted the Best London Dry Gin in the world in 2015. It was selected by the Royal family, served at the Brit Awards and accredited as one of the top 100 luxury brands by Rolls Royce.
 
 

The NB Gin range of drinks

NB Classic Gin; NB Navy Strength Gin (multi gold winner but handle with care please….it’s explosive at 57% proof!);
A stunning and contemporary NB Samphire Gin (using hand-picked samphire from the local coastal area).
The world’s first London Dry citrus Vodka.
The latest edition to the range is ‘School Night’. A low-alcohol gin-based botanical spirit, but crafted with 50% less alcohol. It comes in a unique Frugal bottle.  Re-cycled paperboard makes up 94% of the packaging. 
 
 

The Ginspiration tour

NB Distillery offers a unique visitor experience the Ginspiration Tour. Think comfy sofas, log burners and of course, deliciously large gin and tonics. You will be warmly welcomed with a NB G&T, then onto a short tour of our production area. You meet Gloria the custom made copper gin still and learn about the gin making process. Upstairs in the beautiful tasting lounge, it’s time to relax and enjoy a ‘flight’ of a further 5 drinks.
 
Tours operate Tuesday – Saturday, 5pm till 6.30pm online booking essential. £25 per person.
 
You can hire the venue too for private events.
