Frequently asked questions
Do we need to know how to dance?
No. Every dance is explained, and beginners are always welcome.
Is there an age limit?
Ceilidh Club events are for adults of all ages — birthdays from 18 right through to 70+ are regularly celebrated.
Is there a dress code?
Wear something comfortable that you can move in. Tartan is encouraged, but not required.
Can we bring a cake?
Yes, the venues ask you to bring napkins +/or paper plates to avoid it falling on the floor.
Can we bring helium balloons?
No, sorry. They are difficult to get down from the ceiling!
