A ceilidh* is the Gaelic word for gathering and the Ceilidh Club is a place to get a wee bit of Scotland in London. It’s simply three hours of the best entertainment you’ll find. We started this in 1998 and it it one of London’s longest running dance nights.

Tartan is appreciated

Wear something comfy! It’s going to get hot (and sweaty) so wear something light and breathable, or layers you can take off.

Tartan is a bonus! Anything and everything tartan is always appreciated (you’ll look good in it too).

Bring a water bottle

Make sure to bring your water bottle along with you to stay hydrated! (We usually have a water fountain available for refill)

Cash and card accepted

All venues take card – some only take card. But that can depend on the wifi… It can be useful to take some cash too!

Be considerate of others

Please be considerate of others on the dance floor, and when leaving the venue (near residential neighbourhoods)!
