Arbikie Distillery Background

When the Stirling brothers set up the Arbikie Distillery on their family farm in 2014, they were keen to show that they were reviving a tradition dating back to 1794, the year of the first recorded distillery on the site. During these ancient times, distilling was field to bottle, and it is this approach that inspired Arbikie’s own ethos – sourcing all ingredients from the farm, just like their distilling ancestors. The word ‘sustainable’ is not just a badge for Arbikie, it is the very essence of their field to bottle operation, and at the heart of their farming practices and distillery craft. Being a family run and farm based distillery, Arbikie has lots of room to experiment and innovate. This has led to some impressive  projects, such as launching the world’s first climate positive gin & vodka from peas, and reviving the first Scottish Rye Whisky in nearly 200 years. From starting off locally,  Arbikie have now expanded to working with some of the best hotels, bars and restaurants around the world, and will continue sharing their brand story internationally.

Arbikie’s Range of Spirits

Arbikie offers a wide range of spirits made using different crops grown on the farm, each with their own unique character and taste:

Highland Rye (the world’s first Scottish Rye Whisky in nearly 200 years).

Potato Range: Tattie Bogle Vodka (Scotland’s first potato vodka), Kirsty’s Gin (named after Arbikie’s Master Distiller), Chilli Vodka (perfect blend of spice and flavour).

Wheat Range: Haar Vodka (creamy with hints of vanilla, spice & caramel), AK’s Gin (named after the Stirling brothers father), Strawberry Vodka (naturally fruity, sweet and refreshing).

Pea range: Nàdar Gin & Nàdar Vodka (the world’s first climate positive spirits made from peas).
